Lighthouse Pool Management, Inc. | Orientations

Orientations

We are too large to meet as one entire staff, so we are breaking down the orientations by county or pool. Details for each orientation are below. The goal of the orientations is to:

  1. Collect your W-4, I-9 and MW 507 tax forms. The forms are available on the employment section of the Lighthouse website. Print it, and fill it out. If you have never filled out an I-9 before, please follow all directions, and provide the correct documentation. Bring all 3 forms with you.
  2. Get a copy of your certifications. Please bring it with you.
  3. Complete your portion of the work permit if you are younger than 18. Your school is the place to get that form.
  4. Get your 2 uniform shirts, and a whistle. The shirts will be $10.00 and the whistle will be $4 for the metal with lanyard and $3 for the plastic with lanyard. We will have a choice between tank top shirts and our traditional ringer tee. If you already have a whistle or uniform shirts you will not be required to buy them.
  5. Go over the employee manual.
  6. Get your availability for the first schedule of the season with your managers.

Orientation is mandatory.

Every employee needs to be processed so even if this is your 6th year with us we need to see you at one of these two orientations. It would be best if you went to the orientation that your entire staff was attending, but we do realize that it may not be possible. You may go to another, and if you are unable to attend any, we will announce a make-up date at a later time. You will not be put on the schedule until you have attended an orientation, and you cannot be paid until all of your tax forms are in. Please come to orientation prepared.

Orientations with a * before them Denotes an orientation that has a CPR recertification class directly afterward. The fee for the CPR is $40. Additional classes listed under the 'Training' tab.
